the scariest part about being a writer? pouring your heart and soul into this one fic that has taken literal months to piece together only to have this sick feeling in your stomach like it isn’t going to be a hit. not because it isn’t good, no, it’s worthy of a pulitzer, but just because readers won’t interact.

this is my message to my readers and all the readers out there: interact with your writer’s fics. someone can leave a seven word compliment along with a reblog on one of my stories and i’ll think about it for days. writers, good writers, have stopped writing because of the lack of feedback they get. nobody should get the amount of support to the point where they feel it’s worthless to do the thing they’re doing.

it makes me feel weak and dumb to admit this but that's one of the main reasons i deleted all my writing here i couldn't deal with the feeling of rejection anymore and it messed me up pretty bad and maybe that's on me and my mental illness but the truth is that my writing hasn't been the same ever since posting here and having my hard work be mostly ignored and this going on for years sucked the joy out of writing for me and it still affects me i wished it never happened because i used love it i used to love writing and interacting with other writers and making friends and bonding over it all but now it's just more of a bad memory than anything else

1 — do you have freckles? 

i don’t have freckles but i have a bunch of sunspots all over my body and i’m always finding new ones (i guess it’s because i grew up being exposed to sun a lot, especially because i lived all my life near the beach), i think they’re cute because they look like little constelations 🤏🏼

i also have a very small mole on my neck that i was born with and sometimes i even forget it’s there

2 — do you drink tea or coffee? how do you take it?

i mostly drink tea of all types, but mostly black tea with a little sugar, or yerba mate (warm or iced, with lemon)

when i drink coffee it’s with milk and a lot of sugar
